As a two year old I started down this long and winding path. A family friend gave me a box of plastic tools, chief among them in usefulness was a screwdriver. Had she known the forces it would unleash she probably never would have done it. There are many who now know she did the right thing.
Things began being taken apart in my house soon after and continued that way for many years until I learned how to put them back together. I think my piece de resistance came early in my career when, while still two years old, I took apart my crib then had to show my mother how to put it back together.
When the Commodore 64 came out in the early ‘80s I was hooked. I spent a lot of time in front of a screen from then on. With the advent of the IBM PC and PC networks I had a whole new area to explore starting in ’89. It continued from there to my becoming Novell Certified in late 1994.
